Good morning and happy St. Patrick’s Day! :)
I hope that you all are able to enjoy the day despite the craziness going on! I want to say a quick thank you for everyone being so flexible with this new format of learning. It seems that yesterday went pretty well. I so appreciate your help with this as we try our best to continue learning for our students despite being out of school.
Along with the assignments, I've decided to start adding a specials activity that aligns with their specials schedule for the week (PE , art, music.)
Here are the assignments for Tuesday, March 17:
  • 15 minutes of reading on Raz-Kids
  • 15 minutes on Brainpop Jr. – Watch video on George Washington Carver and complete activities
  • 15 minutes on Dreambox Math
  • 15 minutes of writing – what are two things you learned about George Washington Carver – please write in complete sentences and post picture in class Dojo messages
  • PE: Go outside and play for 30 minutes. If it's raining, do a GoNoodle. GoNoodle videos are on YouTube. :)

*If your child needs a break from assignments or even just for fun, here’s the link to an Art for Kids Hub video teaching them how to draw a leprechaun. There are lots of videos so feel free to let them choose a different one if they want to! We’ve done these in class several times and they love it! This can also make up for their art specials that they missed yesterday. Video link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cQXvBKUDinE
