Assignments for Wednesday, May 6^th 

·       Reading: 15 minutes of reading on either Raz-Kids, Epic, or read your favorite book and send a picture of you reading it. 

·       Phonics: Complete the phonics activity sheet by identifying the three words in each row that have either the soft c or soft g sound. 

·       Math: Watch the video and complete the addition and subtraction sheets. You can print the sheets out or recreate them on a piece of notebook paper.

·       Writing: Yesterday you watched the book Children make Terrible Pets. What animal do you think would make a terrible pet? Pick an animal and complete the graphic organizer.  

Assignments for Tuesday, May 5^th: 

·       Reading: 15 minutes of reading on either Raz-Kids, Epic, or read your favorite book and send a picture of you reading it. 

·       Phonics: Read through the poem and circle, write, or make a list of all words that have a soft c or g sound.

·       Math: Watch the BrainPOP Jr. Video on Basic Subtraction, take the easy and hard quiz and complete the subtraction worksheets. You can print the sheets out or recreate them on a piece of notebook paper. Take a picture of your completed work. 

·       Writing: Go to the Addison Homepage and click on Kid Links, click on Cobb Digital Library, click on the BookFlix application, click on Family and Community, click on Children make Terrible Pets. Watch the story. What are the different reasons the book gives for why children make terrible pets? Re-watch the story if needed to write them down. Send a picture of your finished work.
