They practiced putting the objects in order from shortest to longest, estimating how the length of objects (how many paper clips), as well as measuring these objects using paper clips.
Science/Social Studies: We are continuing our Economics unit. We have talked about goods and services, producers and consumers, and needs and wants. This week I will introduce scarcity and we will discuss examples of scarcity. I encouraged you to practice using these terms with your child (for example, when you're at the grocery store, have your child identify needs and wants.) In the Science Lab, the students will be exploring magnets. They will also be participating in an activity with magnets for Stem Day on Thursday!

The students are also working on creating their own wordless story in the Learning Commons. Feel free to practice retelling stories with your child when you read at night by asking them to retell the story with these 5 components.
