What is your child learning this week?

Math: We are finishing up counting to 120 and starting place value.

Phonics: The phonics focus for the week is final consonant clusters,
Spelling words this week: band, blend, mint, print, sunk, hang, does, found, help, just

ELA/Daily 5: In ELA, we are starting nonfiction and fiction. In Daily 5, we are starting Daily 5 rotations (Read to Self, Read to Someone, Word Work, and Work on Writing).

Writing: We will be focusing on how to write narratives.

Science/Social Studies: For Social Studies, we are finishing up Me on the Map and taking the test. Students should know their address, city, county, state, country, continent, and planet for the test. We will then start continents and oceans.
