What is your child learning this week?

Math: We are learning missing subtrahends and taking our post test at the end of the week.

Phonics: The phonics focus for the week is long o digraphs.
Spelling words this week:  boat, goat, snow, grow, toe, bold, they, who, write, air

ELA/Daily 5:  In ELA,  we are learning about author's reasons that support a text. In Daily 5, we are continuing with Daily 5 rotations (Read to Self, Read to Someone, Word Work, Work on Writing, and Listen to Reading).

Writing: We will be writing about Thomas Jefferson.

Science/Social Studies: For Social Studies, we are wrapping up Thomas Jefferson. For Science, we are going to the Science Lab!
