Good
morning students
and parents,
I hope this Monday meets everyone
feeling safe, healthy, and happy! This week’s activities will continue to include
spelling words/phonics, math, reading, writing, social studies, and additionally an Earth
Day STEM on Wednesday! You will notice that some activities will have “(Assessment)” written
after the subject title. All teachers have been asked to continue taking grades
on the standards that can be appropriately completed and reviewed
digitally. What this means is that if your child works hard to
complete the assignment correctly, they will receive a 3 on their report card.
All students are still expected to complete each daily assignment as they have been planned to
help continue
your child's preparation for second grade. Please let me know if you have any questions.
Also,
you should have received an email inviting you to join Epic. This is an
additional reading website with a LARGE range of books! We have free access to
it until June 30! Yay! This might be a nice change for the students if they are
getting tired of Raz-Kids. :) Let me know if you need me to resend the invite
to join or if you are having trouble.
