What is your child learning this week?
Math: We are continuing to focus on adding 1 and 2 digit numbers.
Language Arts/Daily 5/Writing: The phonics focus this week is variant vowel oo. For Language Arts, we are doing various activities within Daily 5.
Science/Social Studies: We are continuing to learn about Teddy Roosevelt, and we are going to the Learning Commons several times this week for interactive lessons on him. For Science, we are doing a create a bird's nest challenge for STEM Day on Thursday!
Important Dates:
- March 12: Zaxby's Night. Come out and support our school!
- March 13: Walk to School Wednesday (rescheduled from last week)
- March 13: Early Release Day! Students will be dismissed at 12:30. Please plan accordingly.
- March 14: STEM Day
- March 14: International Night at 6:00 pm!
