What is your child learning this week?

Math: We are finishing up adding and subtracting multiples of 10 and moving on to adding two numbers without regrouping.

Phonics: The phonics focus this week is variant vowel ur.
Spelling words: burn, clerk, bird, fur, first, stern, because, change, follow, great

ELA/Daily 5:  For ELA, we are determining who is telling as story. In Daily 5, we are continuing with Daily 5 rotations (Read to Self, Read to Someone, Word Work, Work on Writing, and Listen to Reading).

Writing: We will be continuing opinion writing.

Science/Social Studies: For Social Studies, we are finishing up Lewis & Clark and Sacagawea with lessons in the Learning Commons and starting Teddy Roosevelt. For Science, we are going to the Science Lab.
