What is your child learning this week?

Math: We are working on adding two 2 digit numbers with regrouping.

Phonics: The phonics focus this week is digraphs ea/ee with r.
Spelling words: hear, steer, deer, deer, clear, peer, down, from, have, now

ELA/Daily 5:  For ELA, we are learning about present, past, and future verb tenses. In Daily 5, we are continuing with Daily 5 rotations (Read to Self, Read to Someone, Word Work, Work on Writing, and Listen to Reading).

Writing: We will be continuing opinion writing.

Science/Social Studies: For science, we are going to Science Lab. For STEM, we are doing a STEM challenge - creating a habitat that meets a zoo animal's basic needs.
