What is your child learning this week?

Math: We are reviewing adding two numbers with/without regrouping and 10 more/10 less for report cards.

Phonics: The phonics focus this week is variant vowel oo.
Spelling words: broom, spool, blue, spoon, grew, chew, then, was, what, with

ELA/Daily 5:  For ELA, we are learning singular and plural nouns. In Daily 5, we are continuing with Daily 5 rotations (Read to Self, Read to Someone, Word Work, Work on Writing, and Listen to Reading).

Writing: We will be writing a book review on our favorite Dr. Seuss book.

Science/Social Studies: We are going to Science Lab on Tuesday!

- Our in-class field trip is on Friday, March 27. If you haven't sent in your permission slip and money, please send it in as soon as possible.

Important Dates:

- March 11: Early Release Day. Dismissal is at 12:20. Please plan accordingly.
